True Saints

This project started out as a protest against the owners of Southampton FC, who did not invest in the club and showed a lack of love and connection towards the club. It soon turned into a celebration of the 'Saints', and reflected back on our golden era through the genuine connection between club and fans featured in 1980s match-day programmes.

The large newsprint format aimed to show this and communicate what football is really about, community and fans - not greedy owners.
